Chapter 5 She really can't do anything
Chapter 5 She really can't do anything
Megatron was not used to having a strange Cybertronian in his private space, especially with too many foreign data access records left inside his machine.
Moreover, that object was a defective product that should never have existed in the first place.
He didn't send it to her directly earlier.
On the one hand, I was guarding against viruses, abnormal programs, and unknown feedback; on the other hand, I wanted to see if her seemingly clueless demeanor was genuine.
The more I looked at it, the less it seemed like an act.
She didn't know how to use the charging bed, what a module was, where the data interface was, and she even had to figure out her own data transmission cable on the spot.
If you're really going to act, you're going to go overboard.
So far, at least, her feedback has been absurdly clean, bordering on dull.
There's no threat, and they're not cunning enough to hide anything.
Aside from being incredibly bold, shameless, and having an unreasonablely strong will to survive, there's nothing else to see for the time being.
...and get hungry very quickly.
Zhen Tianzun crushed the heated energy block and mixed it into the energy liquid in the correct proportions, separating the portion belonging to the gravitational vector from the high-purity supply. Her broken, scrap-like body couldn't withstand the stimulation of high-purity energy yet.
As soon as he finished doing that, he noticed a new gaze coming from the stairwell.
She went downstairs.
But they didn't come over immediately.
She first stood by the stairs and peeked at him for a while, as if deciding whether she should approach him.
The next second, she still came over.
"Is there one for me?"
Zhen Tianzun didn't even move his head.
"Yes. But don't take it randomly. Your body can't handle high purity right now." He handed her a sample with a lower purity.
Yin Vector happily accepted it, looked down at it, and saw a semi-solid, pale fluorescent blue substance in the plate. Its texture looked somewhere between an energy paste and a gel, and its appearance was quite unassuming.
It looks a lot like street food from the country of curry.
She paused, then looked up at Zhen Tianzun: "Is this food?"
Zhen Tianzun finally looked down at her and asked, "Do you have a problem with my cooking?"
"no."
The vector answered quickly, and sat down at the table with the container in his arms.
She didn't move immediately after sitting down, holding the container in her arms, clearly waiting for Zhen Tianzun to bring her share over as well.
She wasn't sure if this was considered politeness in the eyes of the Cybertronians, but it couldn't hurt to do it anyway.
The two ate quietly. Yin Xiang glanced at Hu Hu and then at him, but couldn't help asking, "Do you usually eat like this?"
"More or less, sometimes different." Zhen Tianzun continued eating without looking up.
"Should I eat something high in energy before going to the arena?"
"Yes, otherwise, like you, you'd get blown away as soon as you stepped onto the field?"
Vector was momentarily speechless, then changed the subject: "How often do you usually go to the arena?"
"It depends."
The vector simply asked, "I checked your official information; you clearly had an 86-game winning streak, so why did you only say 40-something?"
Zhen Tianzun ate quickly, and after finishing, he looked up at her, leaned back in his chair with his arm draped over the back: "Except for those forty-eight matches, they were all meaningless. They don't count."
I understand now. So he thinks his opponent is too weak and not a win he would even consider a threat.
It was probably the same for her.
After she finished eating, Zhen Tianzun put the metal plate and container into something similar to a dishwasher in the human world, except it washed much faster. Before she could even finish looking at it, the thing had already finished washing the container.
She was amazed by what she saw.
"Wash it yourself next time," Zhen Tianzun said, noticing her gaze.
"Okay." Yin Xiang nodded, finding it amusing. After looking away, she considered doing some more research.
"Are you going to use the console right away? Can I use it a little longer?"
"If you need it, use it tomorrow."
"Oh, okay." Vector didn't ask any further questions, but after a moment's thought, said, "May I ask a few more questions?"
Zhen Tianzun put away his container and glanced at her: "You've asked enough questions today."
The vector blinked, and the optical mirror was still staring at him, seemingly showing no intention of giving up.
Zhen Tianzun remained silent for half a second, then said:
"explain."
"Where can I go, and where can't I go?"
"What if I get hungry while you're not here?"
"Also, do we need to connect to a frequency band for internal communications? Can I add you?"
She asked all the questions in one breath, and even paused for a moment herself.
"That's all for now."
Zhen Tianzun: "..."
He sighed very softly.
He felt like he hadn't done this move in several years.
"You can move freely on the first floor and in the basement, but don't touch any weapons. Don't come up to the second floor too often, and don't touch any rooms with closed doors. Don't leave this house until I figure out what you really are."
The vector nodded, remembering quickly.
Zhen Tianzun continued:
"There are low-purity energy blocks in the supply cabinet. They're on the bottom left. Take them yourself, but don't touch the ones labeled with their grade. If you're unsure, ask first."
"Oh," the vector responded, then quickly grasped the key point, "So you've already divided the areas for me."
Zhen Tianzun glanced at her: "Otherwise? Wait until you eat yourself into a malfunction?"
The vector wisely kept quiet for two seconds.
"As for internal communications," Zhen Tianzun raised his hand and tapped the side of his head, "connect to the frequency band first. I'll grant you temporary access later. Don't send messages unnecessarily; get straight to the point if you need something."
Yin Vector stared at him, thought for a moment, and asked, "Then what counts as the key point?"
Zhen Tianzun: "..."
"For example, you're about to fall apart, or organic matter intrudes, or you encounter something you shouldn't."
"Understood." Vector nodded, paused, and then added, "Is my hunger a key point?"
Zhen Tianzun looked down at her.
"Not really."
"oh."
She responded quickly, clearly having already begun to redefine the line between "almost starving to death" and "not yet starving to death" in her mind.
Zhen Tianzun looked at her for two seconds and realized that if he didn't grant her communication access now, this problem would eventually come back to him in another form.
He simply reached out and pressed his hand against the base of the pair of small sensor fins on the side of her head.
"Don't move."
The unfamiliar touch made Yin Vector freeze instinctively. Before he could speak, his field of vision suddenly lit up for a moment, and the internal communication interface was brought up directly.
A semi-transparent internal communication interface appeared directly in front of her, and the previously empty frequency band field was filled with a new identification signal.
She paused for two seconds, then tentatively sent a message:
[Zhen Tianzun?]
When she looked up, she saw the real-life Zhen Tianzun raise an eyebrow.
The next second, a reply popped up on the screen.
【Um. 】
The vector's eyes lit up a little, clearly wanting to try again.
Zhen Tianzun looked at her.
"Turn it off when the test is complete."
"If you bring this to me tonight and ask me which item in the supply depot is the best, I'll take back your access."
Pointer vector: "..."
She really did want to ask.
