49-19 Celebrity Tower

Mo Bei looked at Dongfang Yun, who looked back. Just as Mo Bei was about to speak, Dongfang Ying's head loomed between them, cutting off their eye contact: "Aren't you curious why I can make such a good map?" Dongfang Yun pondered, "Didn't you see it on Tian Shou?" Dongfang Ying's eyes darted around, and he immediately changed his tune: "Then these events and maps have real-life counterparts, right? Come on, let's go check out the Tower of Celebrities." Dongfang Yun nodded, and Mo Bei followed, not allowing himself to answer, while Dongfang Ying walked ahead.

Dongfang Ying walked quickly, creating an opportunity for Mo Bei to slow down. Dongfang Yun noticed and slowed down as well. Mo Bei finally spoke: "Yun'er ('What's wrong?' Dongfang Ying realized something was amiss)...I (Dongfang Ying, seeing the two of them strolling backwards like they were moonwalking, eavesdropping)...have decided to dedicate myself to cultivation for 100 days (Dongfang Ying scoffed: 'I thought you were telling your older sister some little secret, is that all?')!" Dongfang Yun wagged her tail happily upon hearing this: "I'll give you 100 days, let's see if you can surpass me." Mo Bei nodded: "Okay!"

The three arrived at the passage connecting to the lower level. With a thought, Dongfang Yun conjured a passage formed from clouds. Dongfang Yun pulled Mo Bei onto it, while Dongfang Ying stood with his arms crossed, watching the two on it, alone on the gathering platform, far away. Seeing this, Dongfang Yun used his authority to pull the platform closer, reaching out to grab his arm: "Alright, let's go together." Dongfang Ying tilted his head slightly: "It'll have to be alright." But his feet obediently stepped onto it.

Light and shadow intertwined, scattering across the cloud platform, chronicling all the major events since the birth of the universe. This was an effect specially created by Oriental Sega after they took power, turning what was once an almost deserted passage into a popular spot for taking photos in the star field. Mo Bei watched the cloud platform with great interest, stepping aside to avoid seeing anything as it passed a new significant milestone.

"This is the elemental reaction table discovered by Mor-Donig through spiritual value transformation," Dongfang Yun explained softly beside Mo Bei as he looked at some elemental symbols on the ground. On the far right of the table was a line that read, "Embellished elements do not react." Mo Bei asked, "What does this mean?" Dongfang Yun replied, "The author, for once, has a change of heart and won't confuse people anymore. When elements accumulate and adhere for a long time, they collapse into purer elements; this process is called emulation. The result is a pure element, the characteristic of which is non-resonance, that is, no reaction." Mo Bei nodded after hearing this, seemingly understanding, and then he searched for his own element.

Mo Bei searched for a while but couldn't find his element: "Why isn't there Thunderfire?" Dongfang Yun replied: "First of all, Thunderfire has a name problem. Thunder is a common element, while fire usually represents a transformed, explosive flame. We can see from the previous chapter about destroying the prison that your element is not transformed. On the left is Mor-Donig, half-sitting in mid-air, with a star ring hanging behind his head, his hands holding up a surging mass of elements.

Behind the two, Alejandro Soldotay hangs upside down, his fingertips twirling a ring covered in incomprehensible formulas.

Mo Bei looked closely and discovered that it could actually move. He looked at it from left to right several times. Dongfang Yun waited on tiptoe at the entrance passage, just like before, while Dongfang Ying instantly started a game. For him, the game was time itself.

After reading it, Mo Bei immediately ran to Dongfang Yun. Dongfang Yun turned and walked towards the Celebrity Tower, her tail sweeping the ground as she casually grabbed Dongfang Ying by the back of her collar with her right hand. Dongfang Ying yelled, "Sis, stop it! Sis, stop it! Let's finish this game first, or we'll get robbed!" Then you could see Dongfang Ying with her head drooping.

Mo Bei walked inside the Tower of Celebrities, where celebrities were displayed on the walls of the passageways on both sides, just like the Crown of the Universe. However, the standard here had changed from "contributing to the heavens" to "leaving a mark on the universe."

"The Iron Triangle, spirit beasts, and three geniuses in the fields of magic and array formations... but this Renxing doesn't seem to be any more handsome than me. In terms of looks, I'm still a bit more talented." Dongfang Yun slowly said, "This is the 8th strongest in the universe in history." Mo Bei replied, "I'm not afraid of the second, why would I be afraid of the 8th?" Dongfang Yun smiled, while Dongfang Ying said, "Shameless."

Mo Bei arrived at the column for Dongfang Shijia and Dongfang Shiyu. Dongfang Shijia stared quietly ahead, while Dongfang Shiyu seemed to be looking at Dongfang Shijia.

Mo Bei uttered, "The two Dongfang brothers, the founders of the Worldly Chronicles..." His thoughts seemed to drift back to that not-so-distant past, though of course, that past didn't belong to Mo Bei.
