"Oh dear, how terrible!"
A two-meter-tall boy stood on a thick tree trunk, gazing into the distance. As the sun set, smoke rose from a tall village in the distance, accompanied by constant roars of anger.
"Even if I send everyone away beforehand, they'll still be afraid of you."
Oro fiddled with a small piece of gold in his hand, muttering to himself.
In his hands, the highly malleable gold flowed like a fluid, smoothly changing into various shapes.
"Old Tarrol has gone to seek his ancestors... I need to start preparing too..."
"Since I've already put these on, even if the heavens don't give me a system, I should still go out and take a look."
"I'm sorry, Lingling, I can't stop you beforehand. If you're going to go to sea, eating some fruit is necessary."
He looked up at the sky, silently calculating the time...
As night fell completely, the commotion in the distant village not only failed to subside, but actually grew louder.
"Well, it's about time. Gails should have found that scumbag by now."
Auro leaped lightly off the branch, and the small piece of gold in his hand suddenly stretched out, wrapping around a branch above and pulling him back at the last moment.
Auro landed easily, waved his hand, collected the gold and the scattered gold dust, and walked towards the village.
……
A wave of heat hit their faces, and flames spread.
In one corner of this village, which is larger than an ordinary human city, a fire pit has been completely turned into a paradise.
The flames leisurely devoured houses larger than castles, the continuous sounds of collapse serving as their dining accompaniment.
The giants, some ten or twenty meters tall, were divided into two groups. One group struggled to push down houses located in the path of the spreading flames, while the other group kept throwing all flammable materials near the fire into the distance.
A chubby girl dressed in pink, several times larger than an average giant child, was sitting on the grass outside the fire, with a mountain of bread and desserts in front of her.
She cried as she wolfed down her food, occasionally whispering something to the blond boy sitting on the grass beside her.
Sister Carmel and the giant girl Gaels rushed over and witnessed this scene.
"Eh!? Orogo has already subdued Lingling?! That's great! Sister!"
Gails said to Sister Carmel with a delighted expression, but her gaze remained fixed on the blond boy's back, and there seemed to be stars twinkling in the girl's eyes.
"Yes, that's great..."
Sister Carmel responded somewhat perfunctorily, her gaze also fixed on the golden figure, a dark glint in her eyes:
"Orikum Oro, a human, six years old, one year older than Lingling, with regular features, precocious and deep-thinking at a young age... he is also a monster."
"Even among my past products, this kind of goods are top-notch."
"No, it can at least be ranked in the top three."
"It's a pity that it was that old guy Tarol who found him back then, otherwise, if only we could have taken him and Lingling together..."
"Gails, Gals!"
"Oh! Nun? What's wrong?"
Sister Carmelo snapped Gale back to reality, and she shyly fiddled with her pale blonde braids.
Sister Carmel ignored her girlish thoughts and simply said softly, "Let's go over there; I'm worried someone might get hurt."
"Hmm! The nun is so kind!"
……
"Waaah, Brother Auro, I really didn't mean to..."
"Alright, alright, stop crying. As long as no one is hurt, there's still a chance to make amends."
As Oro comforted the future Yonko, who was nearly three meters tall, incredibly strong, yet simple-minded, he noticed Sister Carmel and Gale approaching.
"Lingling, don't cry. Look who's here! It's the nun and Gale."
"Um! The nun and Gale? Waaah! The nun! Gale! I've messed up again! I'm so sorry... Waaah..."
Even with a sincere apology, Lingling couldn't put down her bread and desserts.
"Lingling~ Can you tell the nun what happened?"
Sister Carmel asked with a smile and a gentle tone, seemingly without any intention of blaming.
"Waaah, Sister~ I...I don't know what happened...I only remember being so hungry, and then when I came to my senses, Brother Oro was already kicking me in the face and yelling at me..."
"Hey, Sister, Brother Oro said that although I caused all of this, I didn't mean to. As long as I sincerely apologize and make amends with my actions, Lingling can be forgiven, right?"
"Of course, Lingling, if you do something wrong, you should admit it. If you cause trouble, you should make amends. As long as Lingling is sincere, everyone will forgive her. I will also help Lingling apologize to everyone."
"Waaah~ Sister~ You're so kind~"
Gails, who was listening nearby, sensed something was wrong. Shouldn't Lingling be most grateful to Orogo for stopping her in time?
Oro stood aside, silently observing Carmelo's every move, but he was now more concerned with something else:
Thanks to his timely intervention, the giant village was not engulfed in flames as it was in the original story.
The fire is now under control, and that old bastard doesn't seem to be planning to perform any miracles.
Then... the creation created by the fruit power called "Pandora" from the original work probably won't appear.
well.
When the enemy's numbers decrease while ours increase, when the enemy's advantage is in the open while ours is in the shadows, the scales of victory will mercilessly tip toward the side with more and heavier weights.
"It's Sister Carmel."
An aged voice accompanied by heavy footsteps came, and Oro felt the earth tremble beneath them.
"Lord Yaruru, Lord Yoruru."×2
"Grandpa Yaruru, Grandpa Yoruru." ×2
"Mountain Beard" Aruru and "Waterfall Beard" Yoruru are the two oldest giants, elders of the giant race, and heroes of the giant race.
Their titles are literally: one has a beard as big as a mountain, and the other has a beard shaped like a waterfall.
"Grandpa Yaruru, Grandpa Yoruru, is the fire under control? Is anyone injured?"
Somewhat unexpectedly, it was Gails, who had been silent since the beginning, who spoke first.
"What a kind child. Don't worry, Gals, no one is hurt."
The fire behind them was still burning, and Yoruru, as an elder, spoke with a serious tone.
No sooner had Yoruru finished speaking than another elder, Yaruru, spoke up: "Sister Carmel, please come here, we have something to discuss with you."
Aruru paused for a moment, and before Sister Carmel could respond, she said, "Auro, you can come over too."
"Okay, Grandpa Yaru."
Oro answered calmly.

P.S. Regarding the name Gale, due to translation issues, Gale, Galez, and Geerz all refer to her; I chose the one that sounds the smoothest...
