Chapter 191 Recruitment
Chapter 191 Recruitment
"Thank you for taking care of me during this time. When I get better, I can do something for you for free."
Uchiha Hatake breathed in the fresh air around him and spoke to Obito, who was standing to the side.
Seeing that he didn't react, she took it for granted, picked up a stick, and began to probe her way away.
Her goal was clear: to find a secluded place to recover her strength, or at the very least, to restore her eyesight.
Uchiha Hatomu seemed to have bad luck, encountering bandits not far from where he was going, a common occurrence in the war-torn ninja world.
Lone Star initially frequented these kinds of bandits, taking their corpses to exchange for money at gold exchange shops.
"But since Obito let her go, couldn't we put her in a safer place?" she thought to herself ruthlessly.
Just then, a voice rang out, "Join us and we might spare your life." A man who appeared to be a minor leader among the group spoke up to recruit them.
"Ha...recruiting...her looks are definitely a case of throwing a lamb to the slaughter." Although Uchiha Ye couldn't see, it didn't stop her from rolling her eyes.
"I'm willing to join, but I want to be your leader." She suddenly had an idea and said. If she could successfully persuade him, it would be good to have some followers to command.
A blueprint unfolded in her mind: integrating the entire bandit group of the ninja world seemed to be a considerable force.
Upon hearing this, the other side's face instantly darkened. A little girl like her wants to be their leader? Don't think he can't tell just because she's wearing a mask.
"Let's all go together and take her back!" The squad leader wasn't stupid. Anyone who could say something like that must have some strength. He wasn't going to be a fool and go up there alone.
White Zetsu, who was hiding in the shadows, saw this scene and immediately disappeared underground to report to Obito.
"Obito, Uchiha Hatake is being attacked by a group of bandits! Quickly rescue him..."
During the time that White Zetsu had been in close contact with Uchiha Yoru, he enjoyed secretly complaining about Obito with her.
He asked what it felt like to poop, and no one had ever given him a serious answer before; they all just told him to get lost. Only she explained it to him in detail and promised to let him experience it someday.
Obito remained unmoved by the news from White Zetsu, his fists clenching slightly to indicate his inner turmoil.
"Obito..." White Zetsu called out again.
"Then let's help her one more time!" Obito spoke up for the sake of White Zetsu, and then disappeared from the spot.
"What a hypocrite!" Bai Jue muttered, before disappearing back into the ground.
At this moment, a group of people lay sprawled out around Uchiha Ha, groaning in pain.
She scratched her ear. "Shut up, or I'll cripple you."
Upon hearing this, they all covered their lower bodies and sobbed.
"Not allowing people to cry out in pain is utterly inhumane."
Obito happened to see this scene when he arrived, and felt a chill run down his lower body.
"Wow... My favorite Uchiha Yoh is really amazing, even blind he's still so awesome..." Tobi blurted out upon seeing this.
"What do you mean by 'you like'? Do you even understand the meaning of that word?" Obito looked at White Zetsu with displeasure, clearly disagreeing with what he said.
"Of course I understand. Liking someone means wanting to see them every day. That's exactly how I feel right now. She's so interesting." Afei said with a silly grin, definitely not because of the promises Uchiha Yoh made to him.
Obito frowned instantly. "No, absolutely not..." No one could replace Rin in his heart. He initially only wanted to take her as a subordinate to use for his own purposes. Now that she was blind, he decided to give up this pawn. There was no need to waste any more time on her.
Just as Uchiha Ye was about to try and persuade the bandits to become her underlings, Obito appeared beside her and asked, "Do you need me to help you?"
This person is truly elusive. I didn't see that she had already taken care of it herself, and now she's suddenly showing up to steal the credit—no, to steal her underling's credit.
"No need, you can go now if you have nothing else to do!"
"Don't interfere with her recruiting followers." She added the last sentence in her mind, not knowing if this guy would turn on her and kill her.
Uchiha Ye's tone clearly indicated that he was trying to get rid of Obito, which made Obito inexplicably unhappy.
She has now gradually adapted to life without sight and doesn't need anyone's help at all. Her previous thoughts of suicide must have been due to mental instability.
"I'll take you to a safe place." Obito absorbed Uchiha Hajime into the alternate dimension and then disappeared from the spot.
Having survived the ordeal, the bandits, ignoring their own pain, picked up their weapons and fled.
In a war-torn world, weapons are their second life; they have no choice but to pick them up.
They seemed to be out of luck, as they were stopped by a teenager.
"Have you seen this person before?" Itachi asked, showing a photograph.
"Never seen it before!" The petty leader who was stopped replied casually without even looking at the man.
Saving our lives is the priority right now; there's no time to worry about other people's problems.
He had only taken two steps when he was pulled back.
"You brat, how dare you..."
Before he could finish speaking, he met a pair of scarlet eyes.
It's obvious that Itachi used genjutsu to read his memories.
A moment later, Itachi tossed the person aside and vanished instantly. "That figure was definitely Ye."
Upon arriving at the location, there were only traces of a battle on the ground, and no other clues. "Ye, I will definitely find you."
At this moment, Uchiha Ye felt like killing someone. "Her blueprint was nipped in the bud from the very first step. She must have been incredibly frustrated."
Obito pretended not to see it, saying, "You should rest well. I'll let you leave once you've chosen a good place."
"Ha... Only a fool would believe him." Uchiha Ye didn't believe Obito was so kind; he must be holding back some big move. But then he thought about it and realized he didn't have anything that Obito would be interested in.
Having arrived at the space he had been in for a long time, Uchiha Ha lay on the bed with his hands behind his head, staring at the ceiling.
It was probably the ceiling, she didn't know.
Little did she know, she and Itachi had a perfect missed encounter.
"What's wrong with Obito? Is he going to let her leave after all this time?" She had just finished complaining when a familiar presence appeared beside her.
"Let's go!" Obito said nothing more, placing his hand on her shoulder and leading her into the alien space.
"This guy didn't even give her time to pack her things. Luckily, she always carries them with her." Uchiha Ye rolled his eyes at him, thinking he wasn't looking.
"This is the territory of the Land of Snow. Follow this road and you will reach the Land of Snow." After saying this, Obito disappeared from the spot.
"No, this person definitely did it on purpose!"
She remembered that the Snow Country's main source of income was producing and selling films, but now that she was blind, could she even watch films?
That's impossible! Are you mocking her for being blind?
Uchiha Ye decisively walked in the opposite direction. Obito, watching this scene from inside the space, knew she wouldn't obediently listen, so he deliberately told her to go in the opposite direction.
Obito smiled slightly and stopped paying attention; he was going to Konoha to check things out.
Uchiha Ye was also wary, so she asked a passerby who was walking by her. When she learned that the road led to the Land of Snow, she was so angry that she laughed. It was a case of being too clever for one's own good.
He thought he knew her well, how awful!
