Only Tsunade and An'an continued to do things their own way, completely disregarding the opinions of others.
No one dared to provoke Tsunade, the princess of the Senju family, so the students' resentment was directed at An Yan.
An Yan felt no fear about this. During this period, his name was repeatedly mentioned by his classmates, teachers and parents, and his reputation soared. He was already enjoying it.
Moreover, An Yan even had a vague expectation of what kind of trouble a child could cause.
So, after using the toilet, An Yan was cornered at the toilet door by four people.
An Yan looked around and spotted someone familiar, so he immediately spoke up.
"207, what do you mean by this?"
207 immediately went berserk.
"An Yan! Stop looking down on me. We've been classmates for so long, and you can't even remember my name? You only remember my exam scores. That's really rude of you."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I only remembered your monthly exam ranking. If your exam ranking wasn't in the top five of the grade, there was no need to remember your name."
An Yan shrugged, feigning innocence. He actually remembered the kid's name, but he said it on purpose, not for any other reason than to deliberately provoke hatred and hope to gain more reputation points.
Of all human emotions, hatred is the most enduring.
It's impossible for people to love someone for years on end, but it's possible to hate someone for decades on end.
As long as there is hatred, it will be on your mind; as long as it is on your mind, it will generate reputation points. It's an easy calculation.
207 was trembling with rage. He pointed at An Yan, his fingers shaking, and roared, "Beat him up!"
Three henchmen rushed over. Kids fight without any strategy, swinging their fists wildly.
An Yan kicked the person in the middle to the ground with a straight kick, then slapped each of the two children across the face, making them cry.
Seeing this, the child who had fallen hesitated whether to get up and continue hitting him, but he didn't want to get slapped. After only a moment's hesitation, he decisively lay there clutching his stomach and groaning as if he had suffered a serious injury.
Seeing his three underlings easily dealt with, the 207 men were dumbfounded. An Yan approached step by step, while the young man retreated step by step until he was against the wall.
An Yan walked up to 207 and saw that the kid was almost crying from fright but was still pretending to be strong. He quickly raised his arm as if to attack, but in the end he just scratched his head.
207 thought An Yan was going to hit him, and he trembled with fear, then burst into tears with his eyes closed.
"Tsk, boring."
An Yan walked past 207 with his hands behind his back, washed his hands at the sink at a leisurely pace, and then slowly left the bathroom. It is said that the children in the ninja world are mature, but in his opinion, they don't seem to be that mature.
As soon as An Yan returned to his seat, Bei Liu Hu approached him.
"An Yan, I heard that they seem to be planning to ambush you in the restroom. Be careful."
An Yan smiled brightly at Bei Liu Hu.
"You're too late. I've already taken care of it."
Hiruko was taken aback, gave a thumbs up, and muttered, "Impressive."
An Yan immediately felt as if he had eaten an ice cream on a sweltering summer day – simply put, it was incredibly satisfying.
In the world of boys, being "awesome" is the highest honor.
Tsunade glanced at the two of them, then turned her attention back to the book in her hands. The more she studied, the more interested she became in various biomedical knowledge. Lately, she hadn't even had time to play cards with her grandmother.
An Yan pursed his lips and focused his attention on the book in his hand.
Seeing this, Hiruko felt uneasy.
Rolling your hair secretly at night is really less efficient than rolling it together during the day and night.
Chapter 8 Beasts Always Walk Alone
The sun is just right, the breeze is not dry.
An Yan entered study mode, quickly flipping through "137 Common Poisonous Plants" which he had just picked up from the library, while Tsunade next to him was also looking at the medical knowledge in her hands with a serious expression.
Hiruko looked at the two with envy. He also wanted to study so freely, but he always considered the feelings of his classmates. No one liked the "King of Scrolls," and he didn't want to be ostracized by his classmates.
But it's really hard to see others making progress. Why can An Yan not care about other people's opinions?
So when it was lunchtime, Hiruko cautiously asked the question.
An Yan took a bite of the rice ball he had made, looked at the seemingly confused Hiruko, and glanced at the classmates who had been watching them closely. He then chose to answer the question with a question.
"Do you live your life in your own hands, or in the eyes of others?"
Hiruko looked at An Yan with a blank expression, seemingly not quite understanding. In his mind, people should be sociable, as it was a way to protect themselves.
An Yan continued, "Too often, we care too much about what others think, and thus become their puppets."
Hiruko asked doubtfully, "But if you don't fit in, you'll be invisiblely isolated by the group."
An Yan patted Birukhu on the shoulder and said a famous quote: "Being isolated won't kill me, and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Also, Birukhu, I have a saying for you: Only cattle and sheep travel in herds, while wild beasts always roam alone."
Hiruko suddenly shuddered, chilled to the bone by those words, and the hairs on his body stood on end.
"Amazing!" Hiruko muttered to himself, An Yan's mentality is really strong.
Tsunade, who had been silently eating all along, was also stunned. She looked up and re-examined An Yan, seemingly having a new evaluation of him in her heart.
The classmates who had been watching Tsunade and the others also heard what An Yan said and started discussing it.
"An Yan's words are so arrogant! I really want to punch him."
"That line is so great, I've decided, that will be my line from now on."
"Why didn't I say such arrogant things? That's so cool!"
Ignoring the noisy classmates around her, An Yan quickly finished her lunchbox and turned back to the classroom to continue studying.
Beside him, Hiruko also took out a biology book that he had always been interested in and began to study it openly. Tsunade glanced at Hiruko, then looked at An Yan, and a smile appeared on her lips.
The other students gradually returned to the classroom and began reading and studying. These were the students who had heard An Yan speak at noon. No one wanted to be someone else's prey; everyone has a wild beast inside them.
The power of role models is boundless. When the students who came back later saw that the whole class was studying, they had no choice but to bite the bullet and follow suit.
When Mr. Sato entered the classroom and saw the strong learning atmosphere, he was overjoyed. He had been a teacher for seven or eight years, but no class had ever been as worry-free as the one he was teaching now.
Overjoyed, Mr. Sato decided to accelerate the learning process.
"Students, after a month of study, you have all basically learned how to refine and use chakra. Now, we will begin our practical lessons. Theory alone is not enough. I will teach you how to use chakra in battle."
With a wave of his hand, Mr. Sato led the students to the practice field.
First, he led the students to the shooting range, and each student was given a few kunai. Teacher Sato first demonstrated the action, hitting the center of the target directly with the kunai. Then, he gave the students time to practice, while he stood aside, correcting their mistakes from time to time.
An Yan picked up the kunai, and a cross immediately appeared in his vision. He threw it and hit the bullseye directly.
Tsunade, standing to the side with her arms crossed, frowned as she watched her classmates' various clumsy and pathetic attempts at shooting. She picked up a kunai, casually flicked it, and pierced through the target, completely obliterating the red dot in the center.
"What a boring and childish game. It's only ten meters long. Is it really that hard to make a shot?"
As soon as Tsunade spoke, she was pulled by An Yan. Tsunade was slightly startled and followed An Yan's gaze, just in time to see Hiruko missing her target.
Hiruko's kunai missed the target, and he froze on the spot. Hearing Tsunade's words, he was embarrassed and fell into silence.
What's going on? I feel like I'm the only one who's failing.
Upon seeing this, An Yan immediately stepped forward, put his arm around Bei Liu Hu, and led him aside, comforting him as they walked.
"We're all first-year students, it's normal to miss when we use ninja tools for the first time."
But you all managed to hit the target, while I didn't.
Hiruko lowered his head in silence, his fists clenched, determined to practice more that night.
Mr. Sato, who was standing to the side, was taking notes in his notebook. After everyone had thrown their kunai, he stepped forward and handed out a large number of shuriken to everyone.
An Yan played with the dart-like object. Although he had been in this world for a month, he had never actually come into contact with shuriken before. But it didn't matter. After Teacher Sato gave him a demonstration, An Yan immediately learned how to operate the little thing.
The students all began practicing throwing shuriken, and An Yan was no exception. He and his companion each held four shuriken in each hand, and with a flick of their wrists, the eight shuriken glided gracefully through the air, all landing on the edge of the target. Each shuriken struck the white line of the target, forming a perfect circle.
Tsunade grimaced. She didn't believe An Yan couldn't hit the center of the target; he was just doing it on purpose. This guy was just comforting Hiruko, and now he's showing off his skills again. What a perverse sense of humor.
Hiruko adjusted his mindset and began throwing shuriken. This time, his results were better, with two or three shuriken hitting the target. His expression finally improved.
But when he turned around and saw the dense array of shuriken on Tsunade's target, he was still a little shocked.
Truly outstanding people are outstanding in every way.
Hiruko sighed, then noticed An Yan's target. His brow twitched, and he looked at An Yan.
"Do you think I'm that fragile? And that I deliberately miss the target?"
An Yan shook his head; "You're wrong. I was just showing off my skills, not letting you win."
Beiruhu raised his middle finger at An Yan.
Chapter 9 Practical Course
The second period in the afternoon is a practical class.
Mr. Sato divided the students in his class into 21 groups of two, and they began practicing in turn, while he stood aside with a notebook taking notes.
First-year students have just learned how to refine chakra, which can only be used for running and jumping. They haven't mastered any ninjutsu, so when they fight, they basically just throw punches around randomly.
Occasionally, two students from ninja clans would engage in attacks that were somewhat methodical, with their offense and defense going back and forth.
However, after looking around for a long time, An Yan did not see the ninjutsu he was looking forward to. In his memory, Kakashi and Obito seemed to know some simple C-rank ninjutsu before they went to school. How come none of these students from ninja clans in front of him used ninjutsu?
"Next match, Tsunade vs. An'yan, get ready."
As Sato-sensei's voice rang out, An Yan gave Tsunade a look and walked to the center of the field.
The students formed a circle around them, with An Yan and Tsunade standing opposite each other, forming the opposing hand seals.
Seeing that the two were ready, Mr. Sato announced the start.
Before he finished speaking, An Yan had already taken out the shuriken he had prepared in advance from his ninja tool bag. With a flick of his wrist, six or seven shuriken flew out. He then reached out with his right hand, took out a kunai, and held it upside down in his hand.
Tsunade dodged the shuriken attack with a side jump, reached into her ninja tool pouch and pulled out two kunai, one in each hand, and charged directly at An Yan.
An Yan smiled slightly, and with a flick of his left hand, the thin thread that had been tied to the shuriken somehow changed its position, blocking Tsunade's movement.
Tsunade was slightly startled. The Uchiha's shuriken technique? No, it was only similar.
She parried with lightning speed, knocking all the shuriken away, and charged towards An Yan with unstoppable momentum.
