Chapter 31 The Pure White Angel Finds Her Soulmate
Chapter 31 The Pure White Angel Finds Her Soulmate
He doesn't remember.
In that instant, Rosen confirmed it. Then, as if realizing something, he whispered, "So it was you watching me!"
It wasn't Ocycus who was looking at him, but rather the revived consciousness of God who, through Ocycus's eyes, saw through his "essence."
"Are you talking to me?" Osekus asked somewhat cautiously. Given His nature, He shouldn't be like this, but for some reason, Osekus always felt an instinctive unease in front of this divine child.
"Don't mind me, I was just talking to myself." Rosen then flashed a bright smile at Osekus, and said very enthusiastically, "Hello, Osekus, I'm Rosen Nicholas. Would you like to meet my other brothers?"
"Is it alright?" Osekus suppressed his inexplicable panic, and his curiosity about the children of the gods regained its upper hand.
"Of course!" Rosen nodded, then looked at Medici beside him and said, "Little Red, do you want to come along? Or go change your clothes first? Your clothes are a bit too dirty right now."
"Doesn't someone think they should reflect on their own actions?" Medici said, giving Rosen a deep look. Osekus might not remember what had just happened, but He hadn't forgotten.
"Then I'm sorry?" Rosen, clearly lacking any moral compass, said with a grin.
"Ha!" Medici rolled his eyes, then said, "Wait until I change my clothes."
He was not comfortable letting Rosen take Ocycus to see Amon and Adam, and he didn't trust either of them.
Rosen’s abnormality was obvious, but how much better was Osekus?
Medici was no fool. Combining the hints from the true creator with the fact that only the sun god and Oscythus saw Rosen's special nature, He could certainly arrive at an obvious answer—someone might not be entirely Himself anymore.
"I know, I know, go ahead, I'll wait for you here!" Rosen waved generously, indicating that he would stay.
Medici didn't waste any time; he reappeared about ten seconds later, already dressed in a new outfit.
"Pretty fast!" Rosen muttered, then excitedly led the two giants to Amon's door. This time, instead of kicking it down, he cheerfully knocked and called out, "Amon, Amon, are you home?"
"Not here, get out!"
An impolite voice came from inside the door.
"I know you're home, open the door!" Rosen continued knocking, seemingly ignoring the previous response, and started rambling with laughter: "Are you shy? Oh, I knew you were a shy, introverted little boy, Amon. Amon, can you name your furniture? Can you talk to animals? You're practically a male... um!"
"Shut up!"
The door was opened from the inside, and Amon, unable to bear it any longer, covered Rosen's mouth and said irritably, "Isn't it possible that I simply don't want to see you?"
"Absolutely impossible! We're a loving family! Have you forgotten the days we struggled to escape Medici's clutches together?" Rosen easily broke free from Amon's grasp and declared righteously.
His words only fueled Amon's anger. The still-crew-haired god subconsciously touched his head, then pulled his hood up further before saying, "How dare you bring this up? If it weren't for you, how could I have ended up like this?"
"But you clearly pushed me out to take the bullet too, Amon. This result only proves that you are not as skilled as others." Rosen was not at all guilty and instead argued confidently.
"Ha!" Amon sneered, but did not refute, because he was indeed inferior in this matter.
Osekus, who had witnessed the two divine children interacting, fell silent. He clearly hadn't expected the divine children to be like this. After a moment's hesitation, he looked at Medici and asked in a low voice, "What, is this some kind of business for you?"
"They brought it on themselves." Medici didn't explain anything, crossed his arms, probably thinking about what happened a few days ago, his expression cold with a hint of schadenfreude.
This caused Osekus to fall silent again, his intuition telling him there was a story behind it, the kind that would get him beaten if he inquired.
Just then, Oscythus heard someone speak beside him, saying, "I'm sorry to have made you laugh, Mr. Oscythus."
Osekus then noticed that there was another person standing next to him. Judging from his age, the person was obviously also a divine child. However, unlike the thief twins who were tearing each other apart, this divine child looked much more composed and spoke very reliably, perfectly matching Osekus's original imagination of a divine child.
As Osekus looked over, Adam, who had been watching for an unknown amount of time, also looked back at him, smiling and saying, "Hello, I am Adam."
Although he already knew his identity in advance, Adam had not yet awakened any memories related to the sun god, so he remained the composed eldest son of the god.
"Hello, Adam." Osekus felt the atmosphere was right, and introduced himself again. Seeing Adam's seemingly unfazed attitude towards the thief twins' bickering, he couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to stop them?"
"We can't stop them." Adam shook his head and said very calmly, "They'll be fine once they've finished arguing. Both Rosen and Amon know their limits, nothing serious will happen." His expression carried a sense of world-weariness and composure.
"Uh..." Osekus choked for a moment, then suddenly felt a slight resonance with the divine child before him.
After all, He often had this feeling when mediating conflicts between the various angel kings.
Adam then seemed to remember something and added, "Or we could try to talk to Sasriel; they listen to Sasriel more."
Osekus: ...
This is even better!
The Medici and the others were the same; sometimes when they argued, only Sasriel could calm them down.
At this moment, the pure white angel felt as if she had found a soulmate in life.
Unaware that someone had already unilaterally regarded Him as a confidant, He waited until Rosen and Amon finished arguing before speaking, "Sassriel sent me to ask you if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences regarding the dishes at the banquet?"
As the vice-ruler of the Kingdom of Heaven and, in a sense, the steward of the Sun God, Sasriel was naturally in charge of this banquet, which would announce the existence of the divine children to the King of Angels. Although it was a family banquet, it could not be treated carelessly.
"If you have dietary restrictions, then avoid fish and mushrooms?" Rosen asked after thinking for a few seconds.
He usually doesn't have any dietary restrictions, but considering that this is a mysterious world and he seems to be closely related to something, Rosen decided to give up fish and mushrooms starting today.
"What a coincidence, I like both of those." Amon pushed up his monocle with one hand and said with a forced smile.
He certainly doesn't prefer fish and mushrooms, but that doesn't stop him from opposing Rosen.
Then Amon saw Rosen looking at him with a subtle expression.
