Chapter 73 I Miss You
Chapter 73 I Miss You
I'm back again. Every time I travel into Tom Marvolo Riddle's timeline, I feel so happy. That feeling of letting go is really wonderful.
This time, going back in time should change things a bit. I need to check on Myrtle tomorrow to see if she's alright, and also Hagrid. I wonder if Riddle has framed Hagrid again and gotten him expelled after I left.
The next day, after some inquiries, I learned that Myrtle's death had not occurred, but Hagrid was still complained about by Riddle for keeping Aragok without permission and for using some rumors to inform other young wizards about his half-giant identity.
Hagrid was still expelled, but his wand wasn't broken.
That's a good thing, at least Riddle didn't have a life on his hands back then.
Hagrid was still given relief by Dumbledore and became the Keeper of the Forbidden Forest and the Keeper of the Hunting Grounds.
After I finished researching the current situation I wanted to know, I returned to my student life and just walked out of the library today.
Surprisingly, I ran into Oliver Wood alone in the hallway.
It's really strange that Oliver Wood isn't walking with Percy today.
"Senior Oliver." Isn't this a perfect opportunity to be alone together? I'll go find Oliver Wood right away.
"Oh, it's Ayers. You weren't reading at the library today." Oliver Wood was carrying a suitcase, as if he was heading somewhere.
"I just came out of the library, Oliver. Where are you headed?" Looking at the box Oliver Wood was carrying, it looked a bit like the flying broom care kit I gave him and Cedric last year.
Since the Geminis weren't playing Quidditch last year, I didn't prepare anything for them. This Christmas, I think I can prepare something for both of them.
Last year, Oliver and Cedric were both Quidditch players, so they each received one.
The suitcase Oliver Wood is holding now looks like the one I gave him.
"I'm going to fix those Quidditch brooms provided by the academy. They're in such bad shape. We'll need them for the next game, so I'll take care of them for safety." Oliver Wood decided to get the brooms fixed for safety reasons.
"Isn't this the school's responsibility? How can you handle it yourself?" Shouldn't the brooms for competitions usually be under Mrs. Focke's supervision? Can't the participants handle them themselves?
“I have received special permission from Mrs. Hodge, so I can go and tend to the brooms.” Oliver Wood was holding a special permission document from Mrs. Hodge in his hand.
"Oh, I see. I'll go take a look too. I'm curious how you all take care of your flying brooms." Actually, I was planning to go and try to woo Oliver Wood. There's no reason for us to go alone, especially since we're all in a group now.
The afternoon sun shone on the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts, and Oliver Wood and I stood side by side in front of the broom shed, preparing to tend to the flying brooms of the Gryffindor team.
“First, we need to check all parts of the broom to make sure there are no damaged or loose parts,” Oliver Wood said, picking up a flying broom and examining it carefully.
I listened attentively to Oliver's instructions, picked up a broom, and began to carefully inspect the area.
Following suit, I gently stroked the broom handle, feeling its texture and smoothness.
Then I checked the broom bristles to make sure they were neat and strong.
“Next, we’re going to oil the broom so it can stay flexible and fast.” Oliver Wood took a bottle of oil from the Flying Broom Care Kit, poured some onto a cloth, and began wiping the broom handle and bristles.
I followed Oliver's example and oiled the broom.
I carefully wiped every part, making sure the oil was evenly distributed on the broom.
“Finally, we need to put the brooms on a rack to dry, so that the oil can fully penetrate every part of the broom.” Oliver Wood placed the oiled brooms on the rack, then turned to look at me.
I put my broom on the shelf and then walked out of the broom shed with Oliver.
"Thank you, Oliver. I learned something about caring for flying brooms today," I said gratefully.
“You’re welcome, it’s my duty. As a member of the Gryffindor team, it’s my responsibility to make sure our team members can fly brooms safely so we can achieve good results in the competition,” Oliver Wood said with a smile.
I nodded, and then Oliver and I left the Quidditch field.

I had just parted ways with Oliver Wood when Percy blocked me in the hallway. Seeing that there were no other young wizards around, he pulled me into a classroom that hadn't been used in a long time.
In the quiet classroom, Percy gently closed and locked the door to make sure no one would disturb us.
We walked to the corner of the classroom, our eyes met, and our gazes were filled with love and longing.
He gently cupped my face, feeling my warm skin and soft lips.
Our lips touched gently, as if time had stopped.
Our breaths mingled, and our heartbeats quickened.
Our kiss deepened, as if we wanted to merge our souls together.
Our hands unconsciously clasped tightly together, feeling each other's warmth and strength.
In this quiet classroom, our love was elevated.
Our kiss was filled with passion and longing, and also with our deep love for each other.
Our love will never disappear; it will be as deeply imprinted in our hearts as this kiss.
"What's wrong with you today?" It had been a long time since Percy and I had been this affectionate. Usually, we would just make eye contact with each other. The semester was almost over, and today he was suddenly being so proactive.
"I missed you." I didn't expect Percy to be so clingy today; he's usually such a cool and aloof guy.
However, I quite like this contrast. Percy is really cute like this, the kind of Percy you want to hug and snuggle into.
Our eyes met again, and time seemed to stand still at that moment.
I gently cupped his face in my hands and stroked his lips with my thumb, as if to feel his warmth.
He closed his eyes slightly, enjoying my touch, his heart filled with happiness and contentment.
Finally, our lips met again, drawn together like magnets.
The kiss was full of passion and desire; their tongues intertwined, exploring each other's mouths.
I hugged him tightly, pressing him against my body, as if trying to merge him into my soul.
His hands also wrapped tightly around my neck, responding to my passion.
Our bodies are closely connected, as if we have become one.
The kiss lasted for a very long time, as if time had stopped and only the two of them remained in the world.
When we finally parted, we were both out of breath, with happy smiles on our faces.
We gazed into each other's eyes and saw love in each other's eyes.
