Chapter 152 Blog Black Magic Shop
Chapter 152 Blog Black Magic Shop
“My dear child, you’re finally awake.” As Percy and I came downstairs to have dinner, the sharp-eyed Mrs. Weasley spotted us immediately.
"I'm so sorry, Mrs. Weasley, I didn't sleep well last night and I'm feeling a bit sleepy today," I said apologetically to Mrs. Weasley.
"It's all my kids' fault for going to see Harry so late at night."
Mrs. Weasley said apologetically to me.
"It's nothing, she just wanted me to come earlier. I really miss Mrs. Weasley's cooking." I chatted with Mrs. Weasley as we went into the kitchen to cook together.
“Ron, this is the first time I’ve ever seen Ayers speak so eloquently.” Harry, who was sitting on the sofa in the hall waiting for everyone to come and eat together, spoke quietly to Ron.
“Ayers’ mouth is open with whatever people he talks to. It’s a different story when he talks to Dad. My parents both want Ayers to be their son now, saying he’s amazing.” Ron rolled his eyes speechlessly. This is what other people’s good son is like.
“That’s true. Mom loves Ayers the most. She says Ayers taught her a lot of interesting ways to cook food.” Fred came down from the table at that moment and sat down at the table.
“But I must say, there was a time when our food was really good.” George also got down and sat down one seat away from Fred.
"Stop chatting here, come and help us serve the food." Seeing how happy they were chatting, I carried a vegetable salad to the table.
"They're here, they're here." As soon as I spoke, the people sitting down stood up and each took a dish and placed it on the table.
“Only you, Ayers, can get them to help with the work.” Mrs. Weasley said happily, watching her children and Harry come to help.
“Mrs. Weasley, you should direct them more and do things yourself instead of doing everything yourself. That way you can make things easier,” I whispered to Mrs. Weasley.
"Okay." The children are all grown up now, so we should let them do more small things.
When all the food was on the table, Mr. Weasley returned, and this was the liveliest time, when we all sat together to eat dinner.
After we sat down, we began to enjoy our dinner.
Everyone ate and chatted in a very pleasant atmosphere. Mr. Weasley told us about his work experience at the Ministry of Magic, while Mrs. Weasley shared some funny stories from her childhood.
Harry and I listened in from the side, occasionally chiming in with a few words.
After dinner, we sat together in the living room, drinking tea and continuing our conversation.
Mrs. Weasley brought out some homemade cookies and cakes for us to try.
We ate and chatted, and before we knew it, it was quite late.
Finally, urged by Mrs. Weasley, we reluctantly returned to our respective rooms.
It was a wonderful night, and Harry and I had a very pleasant time at the Burrow.
And today is the day that a group of us agreed to go to Diagon Alley together.
"Today we're planning to use the fireplace and Floo Powder to get to Diagon Alley. Ayers and Harry, do you know how to use it?" Mrs. Weasley asked me and Harry, holding Floo Powder.
"I've never used it before." This was Harry's first time using Floo Powder as a teleportation method.
“I’ve used it, Mrs. Weasley. Have you forgotten how I first came to your house?” I looked at Mrs. Weasley with amusement.
The others remembered my first visit. That day, I ran away from home, carrying this suitcase, and walked out from the fireplace while the rest of the family was eating.
“Haha, I remember, I remember.” Fred laughed as he recalled the first time I visited their home.
“Ayers was in a terrible state.” George recalled that day as well.
Recalling that day, the others also laughed.
"Harry, who has never used Floo Powder before, can watch how Ron uses it," Mrs. Weasley said with a smile, changing the subject and letting Ron demonstrate.
Ron grabbed a handful of Floo Powder, went into the fireplace, and threw it on the floor.
"Diagon Alley." A green flame enveloped Ron, and then Ron disappeared into the fireplace.
“That’s it, Harry, give it a try.” Mrs. Weasley smiled at Harry and handed him the Floo Powder.
"It smells good on the feet." Harry seemed to be so nervous that he mispronounced the teleportation location.
"What did he just say?" Mrs. Weasley asked her family uncertainly.
“It smells good on the feet,” Fred replied.
"That sounds like what I heard too." Mrs. Weasley was a little confused.
"I'll go find Harry first. You guys wait for us at Flourish and Blotts." I didn't go into the fireplace; I just used Apparition to get to Diagon Alley.
"Cool~ Ayers has already learned Apparition." Fred didn't expect that I could Apparition.
"You two should learn from Ayers. He's even mastered Apparition, something he learned in his senior year," Mrs. Weasley said, patting her twin sons.
"Mom, aren't you satisfied with our grades this year?" George was very satisfied with this year's results. Neither he nor Fred were stupid. With Ayers' tutoring, their whole family had a lot of O's this year, and even Ron's grades were good.
"If you all get such excellent grades every year, I will be very happy." Mrs. Weasley certainly wanted all her children to be outstanding, so she could wake up smiling in her sleep.
Back to Harry, he tumbled out of a dusty fireplace.
"Cough cough cough." Harry picked up his glasses, stood up, and looked around.
The glass cases contained strange and unusual things, including many skulls that looked evil, a lot of specimens, and a skeletal hand.
Curious Harry went to shake hands with the skeleton hand, only to be grabbed hard by it.
Just then, Harry saw Draco walking past the window. In a moment of panic, he forcefully pried open the skeleton's hand and hid in a place where he could hide.
After Harry hid, Draco opened the shop door and came in. Curious, Draco looked around and tried to reach out and touch something nearby.
Lucius pushed the door open and struck the spot where Draco had just touched.
"Don't touch it, Draco," Lucius warned his son.
“Yes, Father,” Draco said earnestly to his father.
“Lord Malfoy, it’s an honor to see you again. And young Master Malfoy, please allow me to show you these new arrivals, great value for money,” Mr. Borgin introduced to the Malfoy father and son.
“I’m not here to buy, Borgin, I’m here to sell,” Lucius Malfoy said.
"You want to sell?" Bokin asked curiously.
“Yes, Draco.” Lucius called to his son. Curious Draco looked around at the items in the shop. Only when his father called did he put a black box that he had been holding in front of his father.
“As you know, the Ministry of Magic has been frequently conducting surprise searches of homes lately, and there are even rumors that they’re going to enact a new ‘Muggle Protection Act’,” Lucius said to Borgin with displeasure.
“I’m afraid purebloods are becoming increasingly less desirable,” Bokin said.
“I don’t think so. Anyway, I brought some things from home that I don’t want the Ministry of Magic to find out about, like poison or something.” Lucius opened the black box to show Borgin.
“Look at this.” Bokin rummaged through the items in the box, then his eyes lit up when he saw something.
“I’m not selling this item.” Lucius pressed down on the item.
“I know, he’s too unique, he can’t fall into the hands of bad people,” Borgin muttered to himself, then took out a Galon and gave it to Lucius.
Bokin had originally intended to give fewer Galleons, but Lucius simply took the last few Galleons from his money box and placed them on the table.
"Keep the box." Lucius was a businessman; he knew exactly how much his things were worth, and he wouldn't let himself be bargained down.
