"I really don't know where the Black Hand Gang recruited such a powerful Chinese sorcerer."
Jackie Chan's tone was full of worry.
"It seems that the road to finding talismans will be more difficult in the future."
......
In Valon's office.
A dragon-shaped statue perched on the wall exudes a chilling and oppressive atmosphere.
Two crimson lights flickered erratically in the statue's eye sockets.
"Valon, I didn't expect your men to be so efficient. They got me the third talisman so quickly."
The hoarse, ancient voice of the Holy Lord echoed in the room, carrying an undisguised satisfaction.
Valon straightened his expensive suit and tie, a fake smile plastered on his face.
“That’s right, Holy Lord. So, how about we try to get a taste of the Golden Rooster King’s treasure first?”
The Holy Lord's red eyes flashed.
"Valon, don't be impatient."
"I will give it to you, but you have to find all the talismans for me first."
There it is again.
Valon's lips twitched involuntarily.
But he didn't care.
As long as we can collect all twelve talismans and obtain the Golden Rooster King's treasure, all the waiting will be worthwhile.
He turned his gaze to Afu.
"Ah Fu, you did a good job this time. You got a talisman back for me on your first try."
A rare hint of embarrassment appeared on Afu's tough-guy face.
He shook his head.
"In fact, boss, it was the helper you called who got it."
Valon's smile froze.
"When did I call for help?"
A voice with a hint of laughter came from behind Afu.
"I got it."
Lin Ci stepped out from behind Afu and Tru's enormous figures.
Valon had already noticed the unfamiliar Eastern face, assuming it was just a new underling of Afu.
It seems they don't know each other now.
But this person wasn't someone I sent myself.
Valon's brows furrowed tightly, his eyes revealing scrutiny and vigilance.
"Who are you? I don't know you."
Lin Ci still wore that kind smile on his face.
“Mr. Valon, I have long admired the Black Hand and I would like to join them.”
Valon's voice turned cold, carrying a sense of oppressive authority.
"I'm asking you, who are you?"
The atmosphere instantly became awkward.
Afu and Tru exchanged a glance, then flanked Lin Ci from the left and right.
The shadows cast by their massive bodies almost completely enveloped Lin Ci.
Lin Ci ignored this and simply chuckled.
"My name is Lin Ci."
"A martial arts master."
"A martial arts master?"
Afu immediately interjected, his voice carrying a hint of impressed respect.
"That's right, boss, he is indeed a martial arts master."
Valon raised an eyebrow, leaned back in the leather seat, and interlaced his fingers in front of him.
"Prove it to me."
Lin Ci stopped talking nonsense.
His body sank slightly, and the carpet beneath his feet didn't even make a sound.
His figure moved.
There are no fancy moves, just the simplest and most direct actions.
Afu felt a blur before his eyes, and an irresistible force came from his side.
For the first time, his rock-like body lost its balance.
Tru's bear hug had just begun, and before his arms could close, a hand gently touched his wrist.
A clever trick came, and Tru felt as if his strength had hit cotton.
The massive body spun uncontrollably half a circle and crashed heavily into Afu.
Two burly men, weighing over 500 pounds combined, collided like gourds rolling on the ground, leaving them dazed and confused.
The whole process took only a snap of the fingers.
Valmont's eyes lit up instantly.
His two most capable aces were as vulnerable as two children in front of this man named Lin Ci.
With such a master, the chances of defeating that damned archaeologist Jackie Chan would greatly increase.
The wariness on his face was replaced by admiration.
"So, what do you want?"
Lin Ci dusted off imaginary dust, his smile unchanged.
"I am an ordinary person."
"I joined the Mafia for only one thing."
"Hahahaha!"
Valon let out a piercing laugh that echoed through the empty office.
This reason perfectly aligns with his philosophy.
"So, from this moment on, you are officially a member of the Black Hand Gang."
“From now on, Afu and Tru will be at your beck and call.”
Lin Ci nodded slightly.
"Thank you, boss."
Then his gaze drifted seemingly unintentionally to the dragon-shaped statue in the corner, a perfectly measured look of curiosity on his face.
"Boss, what is this statue? How can it talk?"
Valon waved his hand dismissively and explained.
"He is the Holy Lord, an ancient magician."
"If we help him collect all twelve talismans, he will give us the legendary lost treasure of the Golden Rooster King."
Lin Ci wore a "cool" expression.
"So, what should we do next?"
Before Valon could speak, the crimson eyes of the statue of the Holy Lord lit up again.
"I can feel it..."
"Another talisman's location."
Chapter 4 Good and Evil Become Dragon
The deep seabed was utterly silent.
Xiaoyu was wearing a small-sized diving suit.
He was carefully brushing away the mud and sand adhering to the surface of an item with a small brush.
"Oh, Uncle Long, I think I've found it!"
Jackie Chan's somewhat helpless voice came through the walkie-talkie.
"Don't lie to me anymore, Xiaoyu."
Even so, his body still honestly swam towards Xiaoyu's location.
Xiaoyu's voice was full of excitement.
"It's real! It's a monkey charm, and it must be a sea monkey!"
Just then, a blinding beam of light swept in from not far away, accompanied by a rude shout.
"Hey! Grab them!"
Jackie Chan was startled.
"They're from the Black Hand Gang! Run!"
He immediately stood in front of Xiaoyu to cover her retreat, while he turned to face Afen, Lasu, and Zhou San who were chasing after them.
