Alright, enough lamenting my failures! Even if there were setbacks and shortcomings in the past, there's still a brighter future to look forward to! As long as you're alive, there's always a chance to correct and improve!

So let's talk about my future writing plans.

According to the contract renewal standards with Hedgehog Cat, Cat's next book must be signed within two months of its completion. At Cat's pace, it will definitely drag on until the end of November or December. So, during this time, I should focus on planning, designing the plot and characters, avoiding another writing disaster… and of course, trying to save up as many drafts as possible.

I hope to have at least 100,000 words saved up, meow. Having a stockpile of drafts makes it easier to adjust the plot when needed. While writing *Clockwork*, I genuinely didn't have any drafts saved up at all. I'll try harder next time!

That being said, Cat hasn't even fully decided what to write in his next book yet.

I currently have three ideas.

My first idea is to write about a wizarding empire (serious witchcraft, not the wizarding genre), battling a bizarre technological federation (Tesla coils, magnetic storm infantry, and other weird sci-fi elements). Simply put, it's a strange fantasy war between science fiction and magic!

The overall world setting is complete, but the main character and character design are still undecided. It might be a mercenary who's involved in both sides, or someone from either side (I can write either). Anyway, this is the first step to finalizing the world setting; the rest will be developed gradually. There are quite a few options.

The second idea is to write a fantasy world (using a more "game-like" magic, like in D&D) where a powerful sorcerer is transported to modern Tokyo where magic and the supernatural (more "realistic" magic) truly exist. He then embarks on an urban fantasy adventure with a beautiful karate-practicing high school girl, solving mysteries and various problems. The advantage of this idea is that the character designs for the protagonist and female lead are already finalized, making it less likely that the writing will deviate from the original character.

However, I haven't quite figured out the specific urban supernatural fantasy setting and main storyline yet, but it will probably lean towards an episodic format. The protagonist will likely be somewhat invincible. After all, a spellcaster from a realistic urban fantasy world facing off against a legendary spellcaster from a high-magic fantasy world would almost certainly be looking like he'd want to vomit blood.

My third idea is to write a more classic, traditional sword and sorcery fantasy adventure. It would have a clear distinction between good and evil, with a truly wicked demon army invading and plunging humanity into peril. However, the protagonist is… the protagonist transmigrated into this world while playing a single-player game, and not even as the game's protagonist! He hasn't even finished the story; he's only halfway through the game! A game world transmigrator who only knows a smattering of the plot! What should he do?! Come on, protagonist! Even in a game world you only half-understand, you must use your efforts and perseverance to protect humanity!

This idea isn't quite perfect yet, but I think it should be fun, it just depends on how it's written. By the way, I'm actually thinking about a situation similar to the Rance series. Of course, I won't copy it exactly, but those who have played Rance might try to imagine: what if someone has only played half of the Rance series and hasn't played Rance 10—and then becomes a background NPC thrown into the 01 series? What should they do next?

These are pretty much all the ideas I have for now, meow. Besides that, I actually have many other scattered ideas, like a demon summoner with an SMT art style, or a space-themed Moses set against a starry backdrop, but they're all just fragments, and I don't dare start any projects on them yet. So, I'll put those on my back for now!

Oh, right, there's also the question many readers are concerned about: when will the plot holes from the previous works, "The Angel of Death" and "The Resurrected Me," be filled in?

Honestly, given my current financial situation, the performance of Death Angel, and the decline in revenue due to the long hiatus, it's impossible for me to refocus all my energy on writing now (unless I win the lottery and no longer have financial pressure, but that's obviously quite difficult).

However, the plot holes I promised to fill always have to be filled, even if it's done slowly. So, while I'm preparing for my next book these next two months, I'll also try to find time to update the Death Angel storyline a little bit! Meow! Every little bit counts!
