the latimer family

A bit ago Shel and I headed up to Crested Butte with her family for our yearly mountain getaway. It just so happened that great family friends of ours, the Latimers, were up there at the same time. We took some time on a beautiful Wednesday night for pizza and photography. Here is a quick view of some fun images we got of them and their beautiful daughter.

henry + catie :: married

You may remember Henry and Catie from their engagement shoot, if not you should check it out here. The word that is continually brought up when Shelby and I talk about images of these two is 'romantic.' Henry and Catie just seem to overflow with sweetness and romanticism toward others as well as each other. They are an absolute joy to be around and are pretty good looking duo as well. Their wedding ceremony took place at Calvary Baptist Church in Denver and the reception at the Inverness Hotel, also in Denver. Catie is a huge fan of literature and reading so that theme was carried throughout the reception. As guests arrived they found their name on bookmarks and made their way to their literature themed table with everything from Shel Silverstein to Jane Eyre. The meal catered by The Inverness was unreal and only topped by the spectacular Mulberries cupcakes (I love sweets). And as always, the post-dinner dance moves blew my mind. Hope you enjoy their big day ...
